10 Kilo was started in 1997 by the label manager of Tip Records, Richard Bloor. It started with a nu school breaks sound but over time has incorporated dub, breaks, tech house, electro and minimal sounds. Over the time the label has had a number of club hits with PFN, PMT, Back Door Hussies, Dirk Technic and Subsonic Legacy and Bushwacka’s mix of Renegade Soundwave’s classic 'Phantom'. Probably that track and PFN´s 'fascination' have been the 2 biggest records to date achieving 'essential New Tune' and lots of radio play and comp licenses. Already with over 60 releases to date and support from the likes of Eric Morillo, Oakenfold, Sasha, Digweed, Nick Warren, Ewan Pearson, Blackstrobe, Tiefshwarz, Larry Tee, Mark Moore…10 Kilo is a cool brand of electronic club music about to be reborn with a fresh batch of sounds. http://www.10kilo.com/
DJ Rush's record label. Kne' Deep has been a shining light in the ocean of techno for the past 14 years and continues to set an example within the scene. Rush’s hard jacking style has taken techno to new speaker-shredding limits. Stomping through clubland with his crazy style and hard energy Rush has conquered everywhere from small Chicago sweat boxes where he grew up to the world’s leading festivals and his own Mystery Wonderland festival. With releases from Rush, Gaetano Parisio, Miss DJax and Marko Nastic amongst many others. DJ Rush continues the Basement style, the traditional sound of Chicago after the decline of the hype of house, with its roots coming from early works from Robert Armani and Steve Poindexter. http://www.knedeep.net
Roska Kicks & Snares was founded by Roska (aka Wayne Goodlitt) in 2007 for an outlet for his music. Now in 2010 it will be an outlet for established and up and coming artists for singles and maybe albums in the near future. With a big buzz already building on Roska’s new bass heavy house sounds, this one man force of nature is set to take the worlds of dub step and house by storm in 2010. Already supported by the likes of Zomby, Brackles, Kode 9, Zinc and the Nightslugs crew Roska’s unmistakable sound is set to blow!
